THE “ELPIDA” CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

This year’s Christmas Bazaar, organised by the Association of Friends of Children with Cancer “ELPIDA” took place at the Theoxenia Palace Hotel in Kifissia on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 November 2017. All proceeds went to the “ELPIDA” children and those affected by recent flooding in Attica’s Mandra district.

The hotel’s ballroom hosted the bazaar for the third consecutive year, and welcomed hundreds of supporters. “ELPIDA” Messenger Sakis Rouvas and his wife, Katia Zygoulis, were among guests on the second and final day of the bazaar.

The 2018 ELPIDA charm, created by the Serkos jewellery shop, was as always, a popular item and visitors loved the Health, Prosperity and Fortune tree with the flower pot painted by children from the “ELPIDA” hostel. Original handmade crafts, balls, wreaths and other Christmas decorations, greeting cards, jewellery, all created with great care by the families hosted in the ELPIDA Hostel, with the help of volunteers, were available. These and many more gifts could be found at booths and tables of the “ELPIDA” Assocation, the “ELPIDA” Hostel, ELPIDA YOUTH, the “Vision of Hope” and the “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation”.
